Shower screen replacement
Most bathrooms do not need a renovation to look new, they need the screen replaced. We take out the old framed screen, make good the fixings, and fit a frameless or semi-frameless screen measured to your existing tiles. If only one panel is broken, we replace that panel to match.

Options
Full screen replacement
We take out the old framed screen and put in frameless, semi-frameless or framed glass, whichever suits your shower.
Single panel replacement
If one panel has cracked or shattered, we replace just that one, matched to the rest of the screen and hardware.
Hardware and seals
If the hinges, handles or water seals are worn, we replace them so the screen closes and seals properly again.
Removal and disposal
We take the old screen and frame away, then fill and seal the fixing holes.

Questions people ask
Can you replace a shower screen without retiling?
Yes, in almost every case. We measure off the tiles you already have, reuse or seal the old fixing holes, and fit the new screen straight onto the finished surface.
Can you replace just one broken panel?
Yes. We measure the panel and the hardware and replace it in matching glass. The new panel has to be cut and toughened to the measure, so it is usually in within 7 days, and we make the opening safe in the meantime.
How long does a shower screen replacement take?
The fitting is usually done in a morning: old screen out, new one in. The new glass is usually in within 7 days of the measure.
Can I swap a framed screen for frameless?
Usually, yes. A frameless door hangs off the wall on its hinges, so the walls need to be solid, and we check that at the measure. If they will not carry it, semi-frameless gets you a similar look.
Are shower screens easy to fit yourself?
Framed kit screens can be. Frameless glass is heavy, cut to exact measurements and cannot be trimmed on site, so one wrong measurement means ordering new glass. That is why it is worth having a glazier measure and fit it.
