Any paint colour you like, matched to a swatch or a paint code. Metallic and pearl finishes are available too.

Mirror splashbacks
Silver, grey or bronze mirror, which opens up a small kitchen.
Printed
Your photo or pattern printed behind the glass.
Windows and returns
We fit splashbacks around windows, on island returns and under overhead cupboards.
What we install to
The numbers we work to on every job, so it passes the first time.
- We use 6mm toughened safety glass to AS 1288.
- It is safe behind gas and induction cooktops, because toughened glass handles the heat a cooktop puts out.
- We have the cut-outs for power points, taps and rangehood ducts done before the glass is toughened.
- We measure once the benchtops and cabinetry are in.

Questions people ask
When should the splashback be measured?
Once the benchtop, cabinetry and rangehood are in and the power points are where they will stay. Toughened glass cannot be cut on site, so we have to measure against the finished surfaces.
Can a glass splashback go behind a gas cooktop?
Yes. Toughened glass handles the heat from a gas or induction cooktop. Glass is not combustible, but we still keep the required clearance from the burners to any surface that is.
Can a glass splashback crack from heat?
Not from a normal cooktop, if it is toughened. When one does crack, it is usually a pan left against the glass, or glass that was never toughened. We only install toughened glass and keep the clearance the cooktop maker asks for.
Can glass splashbacks be cut to size on site?
No. The glass is cut, drilled for power points and toughened at the factory, and once it is toughened it cannot be cut. That is why we measure after the benchtop and cabinets are in.
Can I match the splashback to my wall paint?
Yes. Give us the paint brand and colour name and we match it. Colours look a little different behind glass, so we bring a sample to the measure.
How long does it take?
Usually within 7 days of the measure. The install itself takes two to three hours.
Can you remove tiles and replace them with glass?
Yes. We take the tiles off, make good the wall and fit the glass. If the wall behind the tiles is damaged, allow for a plasterer.
