Toorak, South Yarra, Armadale and Malvern are 30 minutes from us. The work is architectural: frameless balustrades on terraces and voids, curved staircase glass, pool fencing that has to disappear into a landscaped garden, glass cellars and steam rooms.
Where there are drawings we quote from them, and where there are not we template on site. Either way we put the glass and hardware in writing so the architect and builder can check it. The usual asks are low-iron glass, laminated panels without a top rail, and matte black or brass hardware.
A fence that disappears still has to pass. The City of Stonnington registers pools and inspects barriers every four years, so we install to AS 1926.1-2012 and design the fence to pass without a visible compromise.
Pool and spa registration: City of Stonnington. Barrier rules: what the inspector checks.

Questions from Toorak
Do you work from architect's drawings?
Yes. Send us the drawings and we quote from them, then confirm every opening on site before any glass is ordered.
Can you do a frameless balustrade without a handrail?
Yes, using laminated toughened glass where the code allows it. Whether it is allowed comes down to the fall height, and we tell you at the measure.
Do you install glass wine cellars and steam rooms?
Yes. We fit frameless cellar walls and doors, double glazed where the cellar is cooled, and sealed doors and enclosures for steam rooms.
Do you charge travel to Toorak?
No. The measure and quote are free, and we book Stonnington jobs on the same days.
